About QW-404.5

According to QW-404.5 a change from one A No. to any A No. needs requalification. but I cant understand the mean of this sentence:
"qualification with A No. 1 shall qualify for A No. 2 and vice versa"
Could you explain this sentence?

In QW 404.5, a change in A - number requires re-qualification of a welding procedure with the exception of A-No. 1 and A-No. 2 filler metal compositions. Because of the similarity between the two A number filler metal compositions, you can take credit for both A-No.1 AND A-No.2 as long as one of the two filler metals has been deposited and qualified in the welding procedure.

When I teach exam prep classes for API-653 and API-510 Inspectors I suggest that they write "A1=A2" in the margin of the Code as any easy way to remember this Code exception.
