Hi everybody,
There is a new regulation in Canada on fuel tank that says that ify you have above ground single wall pipes you need to have a corosion program or full time electronic survaillance or monthly visual inspection or precision leak detection test each year.
I have many double walled tanks on remote location with a distributor for jet fuel for helicopter. The single walled pipe are between the tank and the pump of the distributor. I dont want to do what the regulation asked because it is to complicated and costly for us. So I think I have no choice of replacing the pipes or to put secondairy confinement under it.
Let me know your opinions or advices
thanks
