Abrasion resistant steel 1

I have a project that requires a high abrasion resistant sheet material. It must be around .120" thick/11ga. Currently we use a tempered stainless steel. There are a couple of bends on the item as well. What other materials can offer good abrasion resistance but still be available in sheet? I know AR250/400/500 etc... are all available, but primarily they are sold in plate form. Any suggestions would be welcome.

So what SS are you using?
At what strength level?
Soes it work OK?
Is there any corrosion risk?
There are many choices, but we need to know 'how much' you are looking for.

The property you are seeking is high hardness, assuming that lubrication is not an option. You can conduct your searches based on that. It may be more productive than searching for "abrasion resistant".

We used to specify AISI 400 series SS for wear resistance which is available in sheet form.

Is the wear mechanism truly abrasion, and not erosion ?

Erosion is often an entirely different animal.

The mechanism matters a lot.
How hard are the particles? What shape are they? how hard do they impact? at what angle?
In some cases you need hardness so a med-high C steel works.
If there is any corrosion then materials like 440C, 17-4PH, or hard rolled 200 series SS.
If there is a lot of contact and rubbing, then something that work hardens a lot helps.
These would be a high Mn steel or Nitronic 40/50

Thanks for all of the responses. I am not sure the 440c will be an option, these plates need to be flat, and I would like to avoid heat treating. Currently using a 300 series HH sst. I was able to find some AR500 sheet that I will be testing. This part is a wear plate that rides on hardened slag. It will be used in an indoor application, so corrosion resistance is not a high priority.
