I need a value for the coefficient of friction between ABS and Acetal, even a ballpark figure would be enough to get me started. So far the plastics sites (GE, Dow, etc) and google have not been very helpful. All I have been able to find has been a COF for ABS on steel and Acetal on steel. Does anybody know where I can find a value for ABS on Acetal or use the plastic on steel values to derive the plastic on plastic value? I do not have samples of the materials so I cannot rig up a test fixture myself.

Have you tried or DSM or LNP.

I have a lot of frictional data for various plastics against each other somewhere, but my library is buried as I am currently moving house.
