Apologies upfront is this is a basic question
But I was wondering, say you have a number of thermal parameters for on a forced convection heatsink, such as Dimensional Limits, Ambient Temp, Required Temp rise, heat power, heatsink total surface area, and air flow rate. Is there a simple quick calculation you can do to see if that surface aera is is sufficient to at that air flow rate to carry that amnount of heat away to keep the DT???
