Is this possible. I used ACADR14 for the longest time but it was great for dual monitor setup. Can 2002 and later, do the same. I know you can have multiple drawings open in one session of autocad 2002, just wondering if it is possible to have another session open. Thanks.

Figured it out, if anyone is interested.

had to check "single drawing compatibilty mode"

TOOLS>OPTIONS>system tab

Which box of the tools>options>system tab did you make the correction?

System.
the variable is SDI

ADT 2004

Sorry to be more clear:

Tool menu > Options > Select the "System" Tab >

then in the general options box the first click box
"single drawing compatibilty mode"
make sure this is checked

>apply>ok

After this you'll have seperate sessions of autocad.

of course using SDI at the command prompt is much easier thanks Exxit
