Given lean amine simulation stream shows:
0.00148 mol H2S / 0.0869 mol DEA
H2S MW = 34.081 g/mol
DEA MW = 105.14 g/mol
DEA density = 1097 g/L
This implies a lean amine acid gas loading of about 6.06 g H2S / L DEA, but the lab data is showing this stream should be about 0.16 G/L?? Am I doing something wrong or is there another common G/L ratio I am not aware of? Is it common practice to strip the lean amine down to about 0.16 g H2S / L DEA?
