Hello everybody,

I'm currently testing St mems microphone and I'm trying to measure sound level pressure using a device that emits frequencies between 20Hz and 20Khz ( human hearing range). With that being said Can anyone recommand a device that generates acoustic signal.

Thanks in advance.

You mean reliably, over that range, with a flat frequency response? Good luck. 20 Hz implies a speaker several metres across, 20 kHz half an inch. I suspect the usual way is to put an instrumentation quality mic into the same soundfield and compare.

There may be a reciprocity rig that would work, never seen one.

Cheers

Actually I found one device with a speaker that reads wav files from sd card and generates the corresponding signal. But I'm looking if there are other devices and other options
