Hello,
I am not familiar with the design of acoustical difusser panels. I need to use one to allow return air to come back to a vertical AC unit. The Area of the supply hole is around 200 in2, and my question is what need to be the width or the total area of the opening in the panel. If you have an idea, I can provide to you with more details.

Thank you,
-Luis

You will probably need to get more involved with this... include the CFM, how far away you are from the fan(s), whether you are using a return grille, and if are looking for a sound attenuator or something else.
