I am looking for fungus resistance properties of various materials, using MIL-HDBK-454C Table 4-I (attached) as a reference.

In that table, Acrylics are listed in Group I (fungus-inert in all modified states and grades), while Polymethyl Methacrylate (PMMA) is listed in Group II (fungus nutrient materials). From various online resources it appears that PMMA and Acrylics are essentially the same material, suggesting that there may be an inconsistency in the table. I am in contact with the custodians of that specification, so if this is an inconsistency I'd like to tell them.

Anyone?

"Acrylics" does seem vague to be referenced like that.
