Hello,

I'm trying to create clear (transparent) colored acrylic sheets that will be used for color matching used in colorimetry tests.
If you have ever used water test kits for your pools or fish tanks that have plastic visual color comparators/charts that you superimpose on a sample, that is the application I'm referring to.

As I understand it, one could simple start from scratch and perform the synthesis from its monomers and initiators.
I also know there are some commercial products out there that sell as cold curing/casting resins, though mostly epoxy based.
I'm assuming purchasing these cold cure resins are the easiest way to start mixing standard dyes with and then let it solidify, but I'm unsure if this is the right way of doing it,
I want to do some preliminary trial and error, mixing dyes with these liquid resins to create shades of colors.
If any of you have experience in making colored acrylic sheets, I invite you to give me some pointers and recommendations of products.

Thank you.
