Activate Gleason Spiral Bevel Gear Modeling in Greater China Toolkit

Hello All,

Is there someone who knows how to activate the "Gleason Spiral Bevel Gear Modeling" in the Greater China Toolkit (in NX 8.5)?

We have bought a licence but right now only the Spur and Bevel Gears Icons are shown and not the Gleason menue which is shown in the instruction.

If you've actually purchased "a license" then whomever you're dealing with should have supplied you with the proper information on how to use what you've paid for.

Hello John,

Thank you for your answer.

The version for NX8.5 does not contain the Gleason Bevel Gear types.
Now I am searching the files of the older version from NX 7.5 which contains all the needed files.
They are located in \NX75_64bit\LOCALIZATION\prcWhen I copy them to \NX85_64bit\LOCALIZATION\prc\ it will work.

Siemens will not send me these files because they do not support the older version
and we have not installed NX7.5

Do someone of you know where I can download the needed files?

NX 7.5 is still available at the Siemens download page. ( It's the oldest version available)

then "download and upload" to the left.

The \prc\ i have is ~200 mb. It's a little big to upload here.
