Adaptive remeshing problem

I am using adaptive meshing to overcome the large element distortition I have.
However, the job does not want even to start and file process is aborted due to error with the warning
mesaage;

10 elements are distorted. Either the interior angles are out of the
suggested limits or the triangular or tetrahedral quality measure is
bad. The elements have been identified in element set WarnElemDistorted.


In the Mesh Verify all the elements look fine , so i do not know what
is the problem with my use to the adaptive meshing

I think the job does not start because of an error , other than the warning you posted.

There is a difference between "error" and "warning" :
- an warning message indicates that the user should be concerned more with the validity of the solution but does not preclude the ABAQUS solver obtaining a solution (more or less accurate)
- an error message usualy leads to interruption of the computational task (i.e. job).

Which version do you use?
I don't think that the adaptive remeshing in ABAQUS can handle real large element distortion since it doesn't change the mesh topology. In fact, the remeshing method used in ABAQUS is mesh smoothing.
 
OK, looks to me as if abaqus/pre is failing, so there is a problem with your input file - the line "Analysis Input File Processor exited with an error" is a sure sign of that.

Can you have a look in the job directory and find the .dat file? Open this file in a text editor and look for the word 'error' then post the error message for us to see.

Your suggestion is simple yet very effective . You deserve a star.
I discussed this with several users (some of them were experts) no one could help me arrest what and where the ERROR is. Here is the Error

***ERROR: A MODEL CHANGE IS BEING MADE FOR ELEMENT 1 INSTANCE PART-1-1. MODEL
CHANGE IS NOT SUPPORTED WITHIN AN ADAPTIVE DOMAIN
***NOTE: DUE TO AN INPUT ERROR THE ANALYSIS PRE-PROCESSOR HAS BEEN UNABLE TO
INTERPRET SOME DATA. SUBSEQUENT ERRORS MAY BE CAUSED BY THIS OMISSION

The message above implies that I cannot use both ADAPTIVE MESHING and MODEL CHANGE in the same Step. Well Upon activating my elements under large Defo the model doesn’t run (This was (as I believe) due to large elements distortion) . That is why I went for adaptive meshing. Kindly and gratefully do you have any hinting suggestion to deal with is shocking issue.?

I'm thinking loads and material definitions here, but the only load in the GEOSTATIC step is a gravity load of 10 (I assume that's 10 m/s^2). I assume therefore that you are using SI consistent units of Nwetons, meters and seconds?

Check your material properties - have you used consistent units to define the elasticity - in this case N/m^2. If you have mistakenly defined a material that is too soft, the elements will distort excessively and you will not get a converged solution.
