I have been experimenting with add-ins and now if I look under tools->add-ins I have a very long list of add-ins wich don't exist anymore. Does anyone know how to clean this list??

There is no way (that I know of) to clean the list, without a clean reinstall. The only thing that would not show up would be progams or apps that you no longer have.

Like if you had Solidworks office and went to a version of just SW. You would have to reinstall and then the Toolbox, Photworks, Animator, etc... would no longer be an Add-in's.

But I would have to clean out the registery before re-install right? I've been looking in the registery and the add-in list isn't easily found.

Yeah, thnx, good link. But it is too bad it won't remove items from the add-in list if the items don't exist anymore.

If you copy the class ID from the registry, you can manually enter it in the input/combo box in the first form.
