Add XFEM crack to an already deformed model

I hope this can be done and I want to say thank you in advance for any feedback.

I have already completed a simulation of a plate with a hole and pulling a mandrel through the hole to expand it and create a plastically deformed hole.

Now, I would like to take this plastically deformed hole, add an XFEM crack and vertically pull to simulate a tension test.

Can this be done?

Issues:
Tried Predefined Field - Stress:
to import stresses from the expansion ODB, but this does not bring in the deformations. It allows the cracks, but in the initial state of the visualization I get the original hole size (instead of the expanded one) and strange bulging deformations where there shouldn't be any.

Tried Predefined Field - Initial Condition:
which does bring in the deformations and stresses, but only if I do not have the XFEM cracks present. If I add them in, it aborts.
***ERROR: INITIAL LEVEL SET MAY NOT BE APPLIED TO IMPORTED ELEMENTS "######" WHEN THE STATE PARAMETER ON THE *IMPORT OPTION IS SET TO YES. LINE IMAGE: ######, 1, CRACK-1, 0.000####
These elements are not directly connected the elements with the cracks.

Messing with Restart, but I'm not sure how I would restart and continue after adding the XFEM cracks. Seems like this is not possible since I'm changing the geometry by adding the crack.

Thank you!
