If i get one pump discharge pressure is 250 psi class 150 flanges.
The systsm require to install another same size of pump to increase the flow rate so the system will be two online and one standby.
My question is what about flange class is it require to be same size or upgrade into class 300 of piping system ?
Best regards

Johnny,

To me, it sounds like you do not understand the process of selecting flanges for piping systems.

Can you calculate a new design pressure for the reconfigured system ? Consider the possibility of pump "dead head"

Dearest, your question, diction, lack of punctuation and spelling lead me to believe that your first name might not really be John ....

Thank you mjcronin,
Is there article or reference to read it?
Flange selection done by determine design pressure then refer to ASME b16.5, am i right?

Best regards

If 250 psi is the max dischare pressure of one centrifugal pump (no flow condition usually) then adding another identical unit IN PARALLEL will make no difference to max pressure and may not make a big difference in flow depending on your system curve. It won't double the flow.

Not enough details.
