Adding a rolled-back assy/part to assy 3

Hi,

I've a rolled back part in an assembly. The part in question is in rolled-back state, because there is a Sweep feature that for some reason will crash SW if it is unrolled.

Now, I must add this particular assy to another assy in order to continue working. But SW will not allow adding a rolled-back part/assy to another assy (why?).

I feel I'm stuck here. What do I do? Export a STEP of the rolled back assy and import it separately into the other assy? Does not sound proper to me.

Suppress or delete the sweep feature.

Short term solution ... Do as handleman states.
Long term solution ... Either find and fix the problem, or delete and recreate the sweep.

Another thing you should do is send that file to your VAR and see if they or SW can recreate it and or maybe fix the issue if you haven't already.
