Is there any way to add a symbol (diameter etc) to a text sketch same way as to an annotation?

Thank you,
Boris

Yes. Just hit Alt + 0248 and start writing your text. You can also copy paste from Character Map

I did not get it.
When should I hit Alt+216? When Sketch Text dialog window is open? Also, where can I find the character map?

Thank you,
Boris

I believe windows has a symbols or GD&T font in your font folder. Just change that part of your text to the correct character for the symbol font.

bb,

character map is a microsoft program available mostly in all office products. one of the place is, open word -> insert tab -> symbols fly out -> more symbols.

Alternatively, within SW, For dia symbol, I can insert a separate text (Use font : symbol Use charector : f) This will bring the dia symbol

Thanks
BT
