adding part in toolbox

hi, i have to add a part in the toolbox with some configuration and for each configuration i need to specify some lenghts selected from a list box. how can i do this?

If you use "Toolbox / Add my parts wizard", you can insert the configured part into any assembly.
1. Create the configured part/model.
(if you network with other users, make sure that the file is saved in a shared folder)
2. click on toolbox, add my parts wizard and follow the prompts.

Since you have configured the parts that you know you will need before hand, you will be able to specify the configuration as you insert the part into an assembly.

thanks, but i need to insert another parameter beyond the confuguration that i select. for example, from the configuration i select the diameter of a cylinder, but another list box allow me to select the lenght.

As far as I am aware this is not possible as the configuration selection is from a column in EXCEL.

I have to do something similar for my rollers but I have each diameter as a seperate part in the toolbox and then select the length as the part is inserted.

i think is possible putting a parameter, in my case the lenght, in some way in browser configuration->custom parameters, but i really don't understand how...

i'm gettin' mad with this problem... please, someone helps me!!!
i've tried to do some configuration specifying the diameter, and then, in browser configuration -custom paramenters, i've tried to det the parameter lenght. i dont know the right syntax to set this, so i get an orrible error like "impossible to open the table of the origin of data".

So you are wanting a list box that you can pick the diameter like you do with a standard TB part?

yes, i need two list boxes, the first with the configuration as usual, the second with another parameter, i.e. diameter and lenght of a cylinder, as we can do yet fo bt parts. is this possible?
