Dear all,

I work in a European manufacturer of butterfly valves.
We are right now, in the process of adapting our butterfly valves to the American regulations, mainly API 609.

Does anyone know any company that offers consultancy services for doing this kind of work?
We would like to contract a company, to make sure that we have full compliance to American standards.
The reason of contracting an outside company, is that we do not have all the knowledge inside the company to be able to do this job.

Your help is much appreciated!!!

By the way, I did not mentioned it but the butterfly valves we manufacture are loose liner ones.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks

One of the reasons that you have not got an answer yet is that this knowledge is split between several participants in the market:

1. Companies in or outside US producing or have been producing equal or similar products. Suggestion: try to find one for partner that need your product line as an addition to their own.

2. Companies that are pure test/certification companies that test and controls parts of, or the whole product. As 'neutral' on the market they might be more reluctant to participate in construction, but might be willing to tell you where you fail to comply. Price for consultancy tend to be high.

3. Universities etc.

4. Possibly larger distributors looking for their 'own' brand.

5. Possibly larger end-users.

Good luck!
