Dear Gents,

I work as a cad technician at a precast company, with Bachelor Degree in civil engineering I have basic knowledge of structural engineering but.Currently the company is restructuring as the team of structural engineers left us and being replaced with new team. After some complaints issued by the consultants and due my educational background I was tasked to run a investigation by the company until they will hire a new manager.
Attached is an irregular shape solid precast slab which spans between a wall on a side and on the opposite side is seating on a column and at a small portion on a wall. This slab is loaded with SDL=4.5kN/m2 and Live load=5kN/m^2 and is supporting an stair too.I told my srs that that I am concerned regarding the supporting and we should at least provide beams on the unsupported sides of slab to avoid punching force and to be analysed as a two way slab,However they told me that nothing is wrong with it.
The other case is an solid slab with oppenings simply supported by two columns on a side and on the opposite side on a wall.It s not loaded, only an billboard will be installed on the edge of it.They told me that they will add an insulation on some portions to minimise the weight which sounds ridicously to me and they will analyse it as an one way slab in my opinion it should be analysed two-way being provided with an beam around the slab.Attached is the layout of the slab and an section.
I will appreciate any negative or positive comment..Thank you very much.I will try to upload more detailed drawings after the weekend. And sorry for my english

Best regards.
