I only use the endpoint esnap but it can be frustrating when I
am moving or copying something and do not want to use the endpoints
of anything.

I would like to adjust the settings so that the esnap will only come on
when the cursor is very close to the endpoint. Now the endpoint esnap
will come on even when the cursor is far away.

When I was using acad 14 I could easily turn osnap on and off using
the alt key and one other key. I used a program that worked like a script
but have not been able to duplicate that in Draftsight.

BTW Is anybody using the Pro (paid) edition of Draftsight?

Thanks
Rick

Isn't there a button at the bottom that toggles esnaps on/off?

Yes there is a button to turn them on and off. I want to be able to adjust the distance to
lines and objects before the esnap box lights up.
