ADSS modeling in PLS CADD

We just started using PLS CADD software and we are trying to understand how we go about modeling a new ADSS line on existing structures. To give you some insight, we have received CADD models from the utility and our company is in charge of modeling a ADSS that is shown off of the companies construction drawings. We have placed the line on the structures throughout our model, but how do we get the program to apply the appropriate tension for each span to stay within a 1% sag requirement per NESC. We are new to the software and have just begun to devour the manual but our team could use a little guidance on this task.

I believe that after you have created the conductor (ADSS) file you just have to define the stringing criteria which has to do with the permitted % of UTS of the conductor under a particular weather condition. If I remember correctly, the NESC will define which are the % allowed and the PLSCADD will string it as tight as possible (smaller sag).
 
To fully understand what you are saying, tell me if I am on the right track then. I'll create separate cases for each applicable weather condition (NESC Light, swing with moderate wind, 212 MOT, ect.) and fill out the sagging criteria for each one as defined by NESC. and once I apply it in the sections table to the fiber it'll automatically tension correctly for the right sag. Then I'll be able to run the specific reports as needed and adjust my model accordingly, correct?
 
Yes, by default the plscadd will sag as tight as it cans without violating the % of uts in the autosagging critiria. When you work with conductors, the sag is given by many variables (tension, temperature, creep effect, etc) and I imagine that some of these parameter could be treated the same way but I dont know if any special consideration has to be aknowledge for adss
