We are currently performing a tower analysis and believe that the tower manufacturer is Advanced Industries based on some research and experience. We do not have original design drawings for the tower structure but the 25' tower sections led us to believe Advanced Industries is the manufacturer since Rohn and other common tower manufacturers use other standard tower section lengths. Does anyone have any information regarding standards of practice used by this tower manufacturer (grades of steel, custom vs. common shapes used, etc.)? Any information or insight would be much appreciated.

Thanks for checking. I ran across that same thing online but sadly not to much help for what we were looking for. At this point in time I'm thinking only someone who may have worked for them back in the day would know or have information available.

Perhaps try posting the question in the transmission structure engineering forum. I was looking at google books and didn't find anything; similarly with Building Heritage website (link below)

you could try this site, Hathi Trust. They have an extensive digital library.

Perhaps this is a longshot, but, if the tower was a patented system you might be able to find the info from the US Patent Office.

Good luck.

Great recommendation for posting to transmission tower. I'll check and see if anyone there has some info. Thanks for the assistance.
