Age Hardening of Monel 400

Will Age Hardening Monel 400 give it any additional corrosion resistance to Ammonia environments or H2S environments? If yes, is the required age hardening process detailed somewhere?

400 should not age harden.
any residual stresses will accelerate failure in those services.

Monel 400 is a solid solution strengthened alloy and does not age harden. It is supplied cold worked/stress relieved or annealed.

I bet you meant Monel K500 which has similar composition but with 3% Al addition. K500 is age hardenable arising from Ni3(Ti,Al)precipitation. I donot see much of benefit for corrosion from aging but i could be wrong.
