Better to lock out that electricity than drop out of this world.

Nice subject. There is more like this here, some is lots worse.

Are you not more impressed by the 3 skinny yellow wires feeding the breaker on the left?
I, for one, am reassured by the "tag-out" safety system on the right-hand breaker bank.

Then, of course there is this:

I just noticed the red and black wires run behind the neutral bus. That's exactly how I would build panels too!

I just saw that tag system Spar!

I've always wanted to see the actual anchor router of the entire internet! Nice!

Oh and the red and black? Didn't notice that fine double use of the bus. The designer clearly shuns single-taskers.

Note also the contactor life extension implementation:

Here is something to make you happy then :)
Not so bad for a 38 year old :) still going strong.
2 PLC:s and 3 components generations later.
Aged with grace..

This is actually before the last PLC change.. so now its 3 PLC:s generations later.

I'm guessing nobody has ever opened the door to that panel in 38 years.[bigsmile]

It's actually more a a question of someone else than nobody. :)

This becomes tricky to explain.
In Swedish, someone else is någon annan.
So when they at work, takes about someone else, then they mean me.

So actually it's someone else who's been opening and closing the doors for 32 years. :)
Maybe that's why ... ;-)

I was on a service call at a paper mill years ago. System was a Modicon 484 and there was an intermittent problem. I spent lots of the day with not much going on. Of course all of the wireways were open and the wiring pulled out and hanging down, with trash, dirt and other junk in the bottom of the panel. I policed up the panel and it looked pretty good. Left for the hotel bar that evening. When I got in the next morning, I found somebody had already gotten into the panel and... well, you guessed it.

Someone just sent this one to me. I like the creative use of black electrician's tape and the de-facto Power Distribution Block made by stuffing multiple small conductors into a large crimp lug connecting to the bottom of the breaker on the left (under the added ones with the yellow crimp terminals).

Here's a blow-up pf those terminals.
