AIR FLOTATION SYSTEMS

Hi there!

I' doing a survey on air flotations systems in order to optimize ours, which has started-up three weeks ago, (dealing with mixed used-oils/water. It has been working at 92 % of stated project data. I intend to explore all the system possibilities, and the control procedure as well. Is anyone has specialized information, related references, sites? Thank You!

Tell us what you are using in the way of demulsifiers, flocculants and coagulants, if any. One or more of these may measurably improve system performance which I assume you are measuring as oil/water separation efficiency.

If these are not in use, I'd suggest having one or more vendors such as GE Betz, Nalco, Baker-Hughes, etc. do the bottle testing of their products for you to pick and choose from.
