Air/Oil Heat exchanger with stainless steel pipe

I would appreciate if anyone can give me some guidance - especially an approximate overall heat transfer coefficient - for a simple heat exchanger comprising oil in plain stainless steel pipes cooled by air blown across them. Stainless steel is used because of corrosion. I am aware of its poor heat transfer but assumed the air/pipe interface would control the heat flow. This isn't my field so any assistance would be gratefully received.

You are right, the dominant resistance is on the air convection side. An approximate -quite low- overall heat transfer coefficient (OHTC) would be 0.15 W/(m2.oC).
