Greetings,
Does anyone here works in the Aircraft Maintenance branch? And if so, under which autorithy (FAA, JAA)?
I'm currently working under Venezuela's Civil Aviation Autorithy (INAC), and there is this policy about technical training that gives ANY training a validity of 12 months after completion.
Example: If a licensed Technician goes under any Borescope Inspection course today (30/7/2016), he/she will only be capable of performing the Borescope Inspection he was trained for until 30/7/2017. After that he need to be trained again.
According to some coworkers, this isn't the case for others authorities, so I would like some insight about this.
If there is some regulation similar to this one, could you plase name/attach said document (Ex. FAA Part xxx, paragraph xx.xx).
Thanks in advance guys!!
