Hello,

I have a question about the table mentioned in the subject line. The table has dashes in it which I cannot figure out what they represent. For 15/32" structural 1 sheathing, the value of 1065 plf is given for 6" fastener spacing, but 4", 3" and 2" are all "-". To me this means that 1065 is the value for all of these fasteners spacings. Then for 7/16" rated sheathing, 6" spacing is "-" and 4", 3" and 2" are 1025, 1425 and 1825 respectively. It seems to me like the adjacent value should be applied but I could see how it also means the value is not applicable. The text and notes do not say how the dash should be treated so I was hoping someone had some insight into this.

Image of table is attached below. Thank you in advance for any answers.

Sorry, I should have posted the table in its entirety. See image for table with footnotes.

If you follow the convention set by Table A4-2 in the same document the "-" would indicate not applicable. Assume like wood the assembly capacities are based on actual tested assemblies so there may not be enough data to provide capacities for all the noted screw spacings.
