Algorithm to implement the Plasticity

Can anyone suggest a book or paper that explains how NASTRAN uses the stress-strain curve (TABLES1 and MATS1) in case of non-linear analysis (SOL 106)?

There are several good books about computational plasticity but personally I recommend "Computational Inelasticity" by J.C. Simo and T.J.R. Hughes.
