Aligning sketches issue

OK I have 2 sketches & they need aligning.

I click the sketch entity to move, hold down CTRL & click the sketch entity to be aligned to, then,

Tools > Sketch Tools > Align > Sketch

Result, nothing moves?

I cant find any constraints on the moving sketch that would stop its movement, so what am I missing?

Try the alignment tool on the 2D to 3D toolbar.

I have had a similar problem on aligning drawing views. I found that the order you select things to align makes a difference. Mostly that I have had to select one drawing, select the align option, and then select the second drawing to align it to. It may be similar for your problem.

I recommend using "TheTick" suggestion. The other tool you might consider is using the Move sketch.
