All J model lpg regulators created equal ??

All help much appreciated !!

What is the meaning of "w.c. .2lbs"
and "w.c. 0.08 lbs" on two diffrent Impco J model regulators ?

What are the virtues of the diifrent springs available for these regulators?

I want to use a Model J regulator in conjunction with the impco 200 mixer on a four cylinder car engine.

I havent been able to locate refrence that explains which impco regulators are appropriate for use with which mixers.

Although this is out of this forums scope, I will summarize the Model J vaporizer:
The model J vaporizer can service up to about 120 bhp, no more. If your engine fits here, you should be ok.
The "wc" is required by the NFPA 58, meaning that it holds .2 lbs of water capacity in its propane section. None of mine have the .08 lbs. That works out to about .096 lbs of propane.
There are two springs, the original orange one and the blue one. They are different tensions which allow for trimming the fuel mixture. The lighter tension one allows for a slightly richer mixture. The BLUE spring for -1.5" water column vacuum (wc), and ORANGE spring for -.5" wc.

There is little info published by Impco for liability purposes, they primarily desire to sell OEM only.
