Alloy choice for high temp 2

I'm trying to design and build a next-gen heat exchanger that operates at 950 C and 70 Bar. Does anyone know what alloys I could use for this application? I know alloy 617 would work, but am having a hard time getting it.

Try Haynes 230 or Alloy X. There is still a lot of X used in aircraft work. It is a high temp workhorse.

I would give either of these companies a call for your requirements. Both have been excellent to deal with in the past. If they don't have it they will know where to get it.

Yes, and you will have few choices. Start getting familar with ASME B&PV Code, Section VIII, Div 1 and Section II, Part D and Section IX.
