We have a blower at the base of our flare system. The blower where gases will be burned after mixing on the flare top with butane gases. The Blower is very old, and keeps malfunctioning. Is there any other alternatives of air to supply to the Flare to have a smokeless product. Or if I use air. can I use normal Plant air and put it at the top of the flare tip? any suggestion?

It would be okay to use wet plant air on a short term stop gap basis to make up for a cranky air assist blower, assuming you've got plenty of excess plant air. In the long term, the high volume of assist air required will make it uneconomic to use plant air since it is previously compressed up to 700-1000kpag. You can use LP steam also.
