Aluminum alloys SB-26 A03506 - appendix 7?

Hi,

for a pressure vessel component made of ASME SB-26 A03506 T6 (casting), is APPENDIX 7 (as referred to in UG-24(b) for castings) applicable?

When considering the title of APPENDIX 7, "EXAMINATION OF STEEL CASTINGS", I would say "no it isn't".

Any input?
