I have been asked to review an aluminum landing which is supported by aluminum angle kickers. My only aluminum referenece is the 2005 Aluminum Design Manual and it does not seem to address single angles in compression. Am I missing it? If not does anyone know of a good reference for the design of one?

Thanks in advance.

I'll answer my own question. It looks like the manual gives an example of a lattice box column (Example 10). In the example it explains how to design the angle component of the column. Hope this helps anyone who might have the same question.
