Aluminum Sheet - 2024 T3 vs T4

Our company is having trouble sourcing Aluminum 2024 Sheet in the T4 condition. And when they are able to source it, it is very expensive. However, T3 which has very similar properties to T4 and is readily available with much cheaper costs.
I just like to know if T3 can be used in lieu of T4? If yes, what are the limitations.

If anyone has any comments or feedbacks, it will help alot.
