Always asking a not found part when open an assembly!

Hey everybody:

How is everybody doing? First time open a topic to ask a question.

How can I fix the following assembly issue:

every time I open this assembly, SW2010 aways asks me to find a part, which no longer in the assembly anymore.

Using Find reference feature, it shows that that part is not found. I was trying to delete that reference, but cant not.

Also, I was trying to delete the not found part in the design tree, my whole subassembly was gone...

It is a pain everytime I reopen the assembly..

I am here wondering if anybody has a solution for this?

From what you're saying, it sounds like the unfound part is within a sub-assembly. If this is the case, open the sub-assembly and delete it from there.
