Hello,

I am running an Amada laser Fanuc AF3500i-c.

We cut various .025,.035 and 7ga stainless steel. We have been cutting 7ga for a while now and just recently we have been having issues with the travel duplicating itself and causing the lenses to move out of focus. in the gcode it will pierce, move to y location then cut at j. after m104 there will be duplicate x and y movements that cause it to bounce up and down rapidly before piercing again. I attached a photo for reference. there are no splines on this part. just various circle sizes.

Recommended for you

possibly some sort of avoidance inserted by a nesting software

Im not at all a genius when it comes to these things but i'm pretty sure M104 is used to retract the head to a safe space before piercing at the next pierce point and normally there should be a G00G40 - G42 code in place after an M104 to cancel out the M103 code for cutting and then having the X and Y coords for the next piercing or something similar in that perspective for example my code when cutting a circle ( by the looks of it you were as well) would look somthing like this:

M103
G01X7.6
G02I-1.6J0
M104
G00G40
G00G42X324.6457Y7.5
M103
G01X326.2457
G02I-1.6J0
M104
G00G40
G00G41X-2.7Y7.5

So i would suggest maybe double checking all your settings in your nesting software as you might have changed something without knowing it by accident which is then causing said problem.

Once again I am not a Pro when it comes to this but hopefully i can be of a little bit of help
