Hello,
We just rebuilt our ballscrews on axis C,YP,YL. After completing this our YP & YL axis is off .0200. We can make in offset in the cutting program to compensate and continue running. It was cutting off the sheet. Looking for help with correcting this offset in the Fanuc 30I-A controller so we don’t have to modify all cutting programs. We have tried changing the parameters for axis YP in the grid shift page but nothing changes. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I am surprised that grid shift didn't work. I am not saying I don't believe you. Just makes it difficult to fix this.

One idea I had, was to dump the reference position, move it 0.020, then reestablish the home position.

If the machine is referenced at the home position, turn 1815 for the YP to zero. It's the one on the right. There is an APC and APZ.

Turn off the machine completely. Turn on the control. Move YP 0.02" in the direction you want then change the parameter back to a one.

I think there is a offset for YL in a different parameter. I believe that is you correct YP, YL will be offset the same amount.
