Amada LC Alpha 3 laser

Could anyone tell me if amada LC Alpha 2kw machine is capable of cutting 5mm thick stainless steel clean cut with nitrogen.
We have cut this lots if times in the past but recently we are having problems.
We cut a test square cut is realy good.
We start to run the job after a few mins laser does not go throught the material.
Anyone got some cutting data or any tips ?

This machine should be able to cut 6 mm Stainless NO PROBLEM. Where are you putting your focus point in relation to the material? What is your gas pressure, feedrate, power? What lens are you using? What is the condition of the lens? Have you checked for stress fracture on the lens itself? Are you going through lenses more often than usual?

When was the last time you had Service look at your internal/external optics?
