Amine Stripper Column Materials

I'm polling service experience with amine strippers (particularly Sulfinol process) for CO2 & H2S regeneration and as to whether stainless steel cladding of the upper portion of the column has been found to be necessary to combat corrosion of carbon steel. Many thanks in advance.

I've not got a lot of experience with Sulfinol but other amines (MEA, MDEA). I'd definitely recommend stainless for the top section, bottom section and probably pipework as well.

Agree 100% with Oxidised, cladding is the way to go.

Apologies - I should have clarified that the stripper will be operating in an H2S corrosion regime, i.e. the CO2:H2S ratio is about 3:1. Some people will argue that a protective sulphide film forms removing the need for cladding. Is this argument borne out in practice? Thanks for your replies so far.
