my opinion is, if you have pulsation, putting clamps and springs on pipoing only moves the pulsation somewhere else. You need to put clamps and springs on the gas, ie tuning orifices and bottles.

a star for dcasto . . .

all to often, these types of problems are not properly addressed and may very well lead to poor reliability/plant operation. address the source of pulsation, not the symptoms.

good luck!

I have a feeling that you have not completely read the post in the link and its attachment.

My task is to do the static and natural frequency analyses. The pulsation bottles have been designed already by the compressor vendor. After my analyses for static and NF, there will be an anolog study or comprehensive analysis by the compressor vendor to finalize the task.

My target is to provide the a minimum natural frequency to the piping system in addition to the static analysis.

Therefore, I am after an opinion on the method has been described in my post in addition to the implementation of the support type in the NFA.

Kind regards,

Ibrahim Demir
