Thank you both.
Does this version have the Touch Screen capability?
How long last the trial?

CAD 2015

Trial is only for 7 days..would be nice if they would make it 30days like most other software.

I agree with you, Ronald.
30 days would work the best.
7 days is not enough to explore the whole functionality of NX!

30 days is neither enough to explore the whole of NX,
i have been exploring for 28 years and there are applications i have never touched ! :)

Touch screen capability ? I hope not.
There was talk about that years ago but thankfully they did not go that route.

Touch screen is in there already!
- they did go that route..
- You can run NX on a MS/ Surface Pro for example, or a touch screen.

I would not say that it adds anything over a good mouse or a spaceball, but for the Surface Pro, it's...

Jerry,

What's wrong with the "Touch Screen"?...…….

It is ergonomically not good, and (for myself) a pain to use.

What version?
And how could we get access of this trial?

CAD 2015

Hi,
It is NX12. You simply need to register yourself through the link provided in the first 2 posts (of this thread).

What are the limitations? Do you get all licenses from FEA, to Modeling?

Who will be the most interested people/organizations in this trial?

CAD 2015

Hi SDeters,
My apologies for a late reply.
Regarding your question on the NX license used for the trial.
"This offer focuses specifically on allowing you to explore NX CAD capabilities for Realize Shape and Convergent modelling. As we develop more trial offerings we can look to expose more of the NX capability for exploration. Welcome feedback for specific areas you would like to explore."

Thanks and Best Regards
Kapil
