Dear professionals,

Can anyone please advise what are the differences between ANSI150 & JIS10K end stds? I currently have a valve manufactured to ANSI150 & I wish to know if any modifications need to be made for it to conform to JIS10K.

I'd be grateful if anyone can advise me on where to obtain further reference on the matter.

Kind regards,

Jerri

Jerri, ANSI 150 is a pressure rating.
ASME B16.5, B16.10 and B16.34 are the respective specs.
Compared to these JIS 10K are:
OD - Larger with some exceptions
RF - Larger
PCD - Larger or same
RF height - Larger
Flange Thickness - n/a
Drilling - Larger or same
Bolt holes - Larger
F2F - Same
Therfore to fit an ANSI 150 within a JIS space you will need to check the number of bolt holes(as there are a few anomilies)relevant to size to ensure they match, then elongate the bolt holes radially outwards on the ANSI valve to match the new PCD.
Good luck
B
