ANSI Labeling Updates

I'm under the impression that at one point ANSI label requirements for Danger, Warning and caution were changed to require an exclamation mark next to the text and slightly different bordering.

My question is.. if you are using the previous (outdated) labeling are you automatically no longer under ANSI ordinance? Or is there some sort of grace period to update your labels? Or are the old ones fine?
