ANSI Nut Standards

To anyone's knowledge, is there an ANSI standard or any other American standard that governs the family of hex nuts known as acorn, cap or dome nuts?

My primary area of interest is in tapped-thru acorn nuts.

Any idea what ANSI (or other) standard would cover these? I have searched the Internet and found nothing. I have gone through ANSI B1.2.2 and found nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't find anything about acorn nuts in ASME. I see references to acorn nuts in Chinese National Institute of standards and several flareless acorn references in SAE including AS 1581B, MA 2064A, MA 2076A, AS 4444, AS 4696, AS 7403A, J 483 and AIA/NAS 1760.
