ANSYS Mechanical APDL

Perhaps simple (silly) question...
I have a model, let's say a building which is closed - full of plane elements - you cannot really see the inside of it. How could I access the inside part, in order to assign loads and bc's? In fact there are only elements and nodes in that model...
Something like a section or a type of transparency...so I can see at the back??

Any ideas?

forgot to say that the model has only elements and nodes...neither areas not lines can be displayed. it also seems that there is a *.sub file which is not really functioning.

Ansys has a bunch of selection commands that should do what you want. EPLOT is how you plot the elements. You can select/unselect groups of elements with ESEL, or you can pick them graphically.

You might consider defining components (CM command) so that you can easily turn groups of nodes or elements off and on.

Already, I have successfully used these tools apart ESEL.
i was just wondering if there is something like a section tool, where I can define a line and cut the building in two, so I can see inside and then create the components a bit easier.
At the moment, there are walls after walls, so it is really hard to select a group of elements, even if create the assemblies and components.
