Hi

is it possible to use ANSYS workbench to calculate electric fields? i.e. solve the electrostatic Laplace equation? Reading through the help, i get the feeling its not...

I think its possible in the classical ANSYS, but do i have to have a special add-on?
Thanks in advance,

charlie

You can do this with DC voltage. AC could be tricky. I use WB to do electric fields with voltage differentials. Not sure about a license.. multiphysics should cover it
